# PATCH /invoicing/bank-accounts/{id}

`PATCH /invoicing/bank-accounts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com/invoicing/bank-accounts/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-meetergo-api-user-id`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateBankAccountDto
  - `label` string
  - `iban` string
  - `bic` string, nullable: The three optional details below accept null as well as a value: null is how an edit clears one. Without it there is no way to express "this account no longer has a BIC" or "this account is no longer tied to a currency" — an omitted field means "leave alone" to the update path, so a cleared input would save successfully and change nothing.
  - `bankName` string, nullable
  - `currency` string, nullable: ISO 4217. Null for an account usable with any currency.
  - `isDefault` boolean

## Response `200`

- InvoicingBankAccount
  - `id` string, required
  - `label` string, required: What the seller calls it, e.g. "CHF Konto" or "Hauptkonto".
  - `iban` string, required
  - `bic` string, nullable
  - `bankName` string, nullable
  - `currency` string, nullable: ISO 4217 the account is held in. Null means "use for anything" — the point of the feature is matching an invoice's currency to an account, but a seller with one account per currency plus a catch-all should not be forced to label the catch-all.
  - `isDefault` boolean, required: Used when a document names no account and no currency match is found.
  - `companyId` string, required
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The request did not validate. `message` lists the constraints that failed.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not allowed: the plan does not include this feature, or the token is scoped away from it.
- `404`: No such resource in your account. Resources belonging to another account are reported the same way.
- `429`: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
