# Upload Reference Image

Upload a brand asset (logo, product photo) as a reference image —
a `media` row with kind="reference", the same S3-backed store as
generated creative. Later generation calls pass its id back as one of
up to 3 `reference_media_ids` (app/ai/creative_image.py) so on-brand
output is conditioned on it. Flag-gated on the same creative_gen flag
as generation: a reference with nothing to feed isn't worth exposing.
