# Get data on all Q&A items posted in a meeting

`GET /v1/meetings/{meetingId}/questions`

The endpoint serves data differently when invoked to get a CSV export. In this case, questions are returned alongside with comments in such an order that comments are chronologically listed below their parent question. Question identifiers use an internal notation when working with JSON data, but in CSV they are numbered sequentially. User names are resolved when in CSV.

An additional property/column, premeeting, is available in CSV export in case some of the questions were added before the meeting started.

**Meeting role** required: *owner*, *presenter*, *questions-manager*, *speaker* or *reporter*.

## Path parameters

- `meetingId` string, required: A canonical meeting ID string that's generated automatically for new meetings. Normally consists of just alphanumericals; legacy meetings can have dashes and underscores.

    - `state` 'submitted' | 'approved' | 'rejected' | 'later' | 'done': One of various lifecycle and moderation states of a question item.
    - `submittedByName` string: A resolved name for whoever created the question item.
    - `submittedBy` string: User ID for the question submitter.
    - `text` string: Question text
    - `translationLanguage` string: Auto-detected language code for the question text if the feature is running with auto-translation enabled
    - `translationLanguageName` string
    - `translationText` string: Translated question text if available
    - `votes` integer: Number of voters who cast any vote for the question item
    - `score` integer: Total score for the question based on specific votes cast by the audience.
    - `answered` boolean: A flag denoting whether the question was deemed answered by the meeting organizers.
    - `approved` integer: A three-way "flag" denoting whether the question is new (-1), approved (1) or rejected (0).
    - `comments` object[]: List of comments left under the question item.
      - `id` string: Comment ID
      - `timestamp` integer: Comment timestamp
      - `text` string: Comment contents
      - `submittedBy` string: ID of the participant who left the comment
      - `submittedByName` string: Display name for the participant who left the comment
      - `votes` integer: Number of voters who upvoted or downvoted a given comment
      - `score` integer: Net score of the comment based on all votes cast on it

## Other responses

- `401`: Access token is missing or invalid
- `403`: A meeting-specific role is missing to perform an action
