# Upload Document

`POST /api/me/documents/upload`

## Request

"Upload files" — a .txt/.md/.docx becomes a real, editable
document (its text, as Tiptap paragraphs); anything else (PDF,
image, legacy .doc, anything unrecognized) is stored as-is and the
new document just links to it for preview — see
context/doc_import.py's module docstring for why these are two
genuinely different, both-real paths rather than one path that
pretends to parse everything.
