# Save Attachment To Docs

`POST /api/me/chat/attachments/{attachment_id}/save-to-docs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.meet-align.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.meet-align.com/api/me/chat/attachments/{attachment_id}/save-to-docs`
- Auth: none declared

The explicit, opt-in "Save to Docs" — chat attachments never
become a Doc on their own any more (see 0025_chat_attachments.sql).
Copies the same storage object into a new document row rather than
re-uploading the bytes; `context/doc_import.py`'s `link_preview_doc`
builds the identical content shape routers/documents.py's own
`/upload` would have produced for this file.

## Path parameters

- `attachment_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- object

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
