# Auth Methods

`GET /api/me/auth-methods`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.meet-align.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.meet-align.com/api/me/auth-methods`
- Auth: none declared

Does this account have a password? The JWT can't answer it: a
Google-first account that later sets a password keeps
`app_metadata.providers == ["google"]`, so Settings would keep offering
"set a password" instead of the change-password form. auth.users is
the source of truth. `hasPassword: null` ⇒ unknown (no DB / no access)
and the client falls back to its own heuristics.
