# Patient Request Renewal

`POST /api/patient/prescriptions/{rx_id}/request-renewal`

## Request

Patient requests their doctor to renew/extend a prescription.

- Marks renewal_requested_at = now on the prescription row
- Sends a WhatsApp notification to the doctor (if doctor has a phone)
- Returns 409 if a renewal request is already pending
