# Extend Prescription

`POST /api/doctor/prescriptions/{rx_id}/extend`

## Request

Doctor extends a prescription's expiry by `days` days.

If the prescription is already expired, the extension starts from today.
If it's still active, extension adds `days` to the existing expiry_date.
The prescription is reactivated if it was expired.
