# Explicit two-month P&L comparison (legacy)

`GET /companies/{companyId}/reports/pl/comparison`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.medianfi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.medianfi.com/api/v1/companies/{companyId}/reports/pl/comparison`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns two P&L snapshots side by side. New clients should prefer `GET /reports/pl?comparePeriod=...` which supports arbitrary date ranges. This endpoint is retained for backward compatibility.

## Query parameters

- `entityId` string, uuid
- `reportingScopeId` string, uuid
- `scopeAsOf` string, date
- `month1` string, required: YYYY-MM
- `month2` string, required: YYYY-MM

## Response `200`

Two P&L snapshots and a comparison block.

## Other responses

- `400`: Request failed validation
- `401`: Authentication required
- `422`: Explicit financial scope is required, or the resolved consolidated report is not yet available
