# Turn the bidirectional Slack thread mirror on or off

`POST /companies/{companyId}/integrations/slack/thread-sync`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.medianfi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.medianfi.com/api/v1/companies/{companyId}/integrations/slack/thread-sync`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

When enabled, Median thread messages are posted into the connected Slack channel and replies in that Slack thread are written back as thread messages. Requires a channel to already be selected, since inbound events are routed by workspace plus channel. Enabling also suppresses the daily digest for this company, which would otherwise repeat the same messages.

## Request body

- object
  - `enabled` boolean, required
  - `inboundMode` 'mention_or_reply' | 'all': mention_or_reply (default) only opens a new Median thread when the bot is mentioned; replies inside an existing mirrored thread always sync. `all` treats every top-level channel message as a new thread, which is only sensible on a channel dedicated to Median.

## Response `200`

Updated thread sync state

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `data` object
    - `threadSyncEnabled` boolean
    - `inboundMode` 'mention_or_reply' | 'all'

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Insufficient permissions or not a company member
- `404`: Resource not found
- `422`: Validation error
