# Confirm a financing assumption corresponds to one posted receipt

`POST /companies/{companyId}/forecast/{forecastId}/financing-events/{eventId}/receipt`

Explicitly links one complete cash receipt with an equity or financing-debt credit in the same company and entity. Repeating the same link is idempotent; either identity already linked to live cash elsewhere conflicts. A voided or deleted prior receipt can be explicitly replaced with a verified receipt, preserving its history. The association never posts or changes books, and projections revalidate posted status and money in the opening-cash snapshot.
