# Set the first expected receipt date on an undated financing event

`PATCH /companies/{companyId}/forecast/{forecastId}/financing-events/{eventId}/expected-date`

The date must be within the event's effective month. Repeating the same date is idempotent; a different date conflicts. Amount, entity, currency and all other event fields remain immutable. This operation does not post or match ledger cash.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Insufficient permissions or not a company member
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Financing event already has a different expected date
- `422`: Invalid calendar date or date outside the event's effective month
