# Un-split a customer transaction back to one category

`DELETE /accountant/companies/{customerId}/transactions/{transactionId}/splits`

#876. Deletes the split legs, clears isSplit, sets the parent category, and void-and-replaces the posted journal entry with a single category line. Same 422 guards as the PUT.

Success envelope with the updated transaction

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Insufficient permissions or not a company member
- `404`: Resource not found
- `422`: Validation or business rule error. Same `TRANSACTION_CATEGORY_IS_BANK_ACCOUNT` and `TRANSACTION_BANK_OFFSET_UNIDENTIFIED` refusals as the PUT.
