# Read companies journal entries

`GET /accountant/companies/{customerId}/journal-entries`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.medianfi.com/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Posted journal entries for one customer as a keyset-paged list, newest entry date first (#1703). `data` is a bare array; `meta.nextCursor` and `meta.hasMore` drive paging — pass `meta.nextCursor` back as `cursor` until `hasMore` is false.

    - `truncated` boolean: True when at least one assigned customer was dropped from this practice-wide read because its client-status / report-access lookup could not be evaluated, so the payload is short that customer's rows (#1959). A customer deliberately excluded by its client status is not a gap and does not raise this. Always false on the customer-scoped route, which never fans out.
    - `ledgerRevision` string, nullable: Opaque token of the posted ledger state the report was read under (#1166). It changes whenever any journal entry or line of the company (with `entityId`, of that entity and of entries with no entity) is inserted, updated, voided or deleted, backdated or not. Two reads with equal tokens saw the same ledger. Null when the ledger moved on both attempts of the read, so a client combining pages or statements must treat the result as unproven and retry. Not a credential; not ordered.
