# Status of a suggestion

`GET /s/{token}.json`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.tc`
- URL: `https://mcp.tc/s/{token}.json`
- Auth: none required

Poll it every 5 to 10 seconds until `terminal` is true; most suggestions finish within a few minutes. The same status as a page for people is at https://mcp.tc/s/{token}. English, no language prefix.

## Response `200`

Where the suggestion is now.

- SubmissionStatus
  - `state` 'queued' | 'checking' | 'reviewing' | 'listed' | 'duplicate' | 'pending' | 'rejected' | 'error', required: `queued`, `checking` and `reviewing` are on the way; `listed` (live), `duplicate` (was already listed), `pending` (a person reviews it before it goes live), `rejected` and `error` are final.
  - `title` string, required: The status page's English heading.
  - `message` string, required: The status page's English text.
  - `link` string, uri: The listing link (listed, duplicate, pending).
  - `name` string: The listing's name, when there is one.
  - `display` string: `link` without https://.
  - `terminal` boolean, required: True once the state is final: stop polling.

## Other responses

- `404`: No suggestion has this token.
