# POST /boards

`POST /boards`

Creates a new board

## Request body

- Board — Board groups a set of blocks and its layout
  - `cardProperties` object[] — The properties of the board cards
  - `channelId` string — The ID of the channel that the board was created from
  - `createAt` integer, required — The creation time in miliseconds since the current epoch
  - `createdBy` string, required — The ID of the user that created the board
  - `deleteAt` integer — The deleted time in miliseconds since the current epoch. Set to indicate this block is deleted
  - `description` string — The description of the board
  - `icon` string — The icon of the board
  - `id` string, required — The ID for the board
  - `isTemplate` boolean — Marks the template boards
  - `modifiedBy` string, required — The ID of the last user that updated the board
  - `properties` object — The properties of the board
  - `showDescription` boolean — Indicates if the board shows the description on the interface
  - `teamId` string, required — The ID of the team that the board belongs to
  - `templateVersion` integer — Marks the template boards
  - `title` string — The title of the board
  - `type` string, required
  - `updateAt` integer, required — The last modified time in miliseconds since the current epoch
