# Lists the user's current rooms.

`GET /_matrix/client/v3/joined_rooms`

## Request

  - API key in query parameter `access_token`
  - HTTP bearer

This API returns a list of the user's current rooms.

## Response `200`

A list of the rooms the user is in.

  - `joined_rooms` string[], required: The ID of each room in which the user has `joined` membership.
