# Create a trademark group

`POST /trademark-groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.markmesh.com/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Create a trademark group (a self-service portfolio label). The group exists only while at least one trademark is assigned to it — assigning the last trademark away auto-destroys the group.

## Response `201`

Success

- `401`: API key or session credential missing, invalid, expired, or revoked
- `422`: Validation error — field-level detail in the response body
