# Create a filing watch

`POST /filing-watches`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.markmesh.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.markmesh.com/v1/filing-watches`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Start a status watch on a filing. The organisation is derived
from the filing, so the caller does not supply it. When
`recipient_mode` is `specific_user`, `recipient_user_id` is
required and must be a member of the filing's organisation;
when it is `all_members`, `recipient_user_id` must be omitted
and every member receives notifications.

## Response `201`

- `401`: API key or session credential missing, invalid, expired, or revoked
- `422`: Validation error — field-level detail in the response body
