# Data coverage

`GET /coverage`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.markmesh.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.markmesh.com/v1/coverage`
- Auth: none required

Per-office coverage: whether each register is served from our own store (`local`), queried from the office on request (`realtime`), or both, plus a coarse size band and the date the figures were computed. Public, no auth required — read it before integrating to decide which offices you can depend on being fast, and at runtime to route around a `realtime` office being slow or unavailable. Sizes are bands rather than exact counts.

## Response `200`

Per-office coverage and freshness

- object
  - `generated_at` string, date-time
  - `offices` object[]
    - `as_of` string, date, nullable: Date these figures were computed.
    - `availability` 'local' | 'realtime' | 'both': `local` is served from our own store with no office round-trip. `realtime` is queried from the office when you ask, so it is slower and subject to that office's availability. `both` is a local baseline topped up live.
    - `jurisdiction` string: ISO-2 territory code
    - `marks` string, nullable: Coarse band of marks held, e.g. `1M+`. Null when we hold none.
    - `office` string
