# Cancel an agent execution

`DELETE /v1/agent/runs/{runId}`

Cancel a tenant-owned pending or running workflow execution.

## Path parameters

- `runId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Run canceled

- object

## Other responses

- `404`: Run not found or owned by another key
- `409`: Run already completed or failed and can no longer be canceled
