# Verify Email

`POST /api/auth/verify-email`

## Request

Confirm an email-verification token.

Verifies the token's SHA-256 hash and expiry, marks the user's email
verified (User.emailVerified = now), and consumes all of that email's
outstanding verification tokens. Idempotent-ish: a re-used/last token for
an already-verified user still resolves cleanly to the same verified state.
