# End This Session

`POST /api/auth/sessions/end`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.maritime.sh` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.maritime.sh/api/auth/sessions/end`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Ends the session making this call, and only it: what signing out does.

Signing out used to delete the browser's cookie and nothing else, so a
copy of the token kept working until it expired (review r2-security #10).
The token's id is kept until then and the backend refuses it.
