# Request Email Change

`POST /api/auth/email-change`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.maritime.sh` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends a confirmation link to the new address; the email changes when it is opened.

## Request body

- EmailChangeRequest: Request schema for asking to change the account's email (confirmed by a link).
  - `new_email` string, email, required
  - `current_password` string, nullable
