# Resize Agent

`POST /api/agents/{agent_id}/resize`

## Request

Change an agent's RAM / SSD allocation or always-on state.

RAM and disk apply on the agent's next restart (snapshots pin the old
memory size; no live resize). Always-on applies immediately: the idle
monitor reads idle_ttl_seconds from the DB each sweep.

Seats accounts (plan 27 v2): paid plans may resize freely, add-ons
accrue per day from tonight's accrual; the free tier cannot exceed the
base allocation. Wallet (grandfathered) accounts resize freely and are
never billed for it.
