# Update an SLO

`PATCH /slos/{sloId}`

## Request

Mutable fields: `name`, `target`, `type`, `window`, `unit`, `dataSource`, `currentValue`. Changing `type`, `target`, or `window` resets the error budget — the sloCalculator will refine the next recalculation.
