# Read one feature by its OSM identity

`GET /places/{osmType}/{osmId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mapsource.io`
- URL: `https://api.mapsource.io/places/{osmType}/{osmId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the tags and geometry center of an OSM node, way, or relation.

When to use: Retrieve details for an OSM object identified by type and ID.
