# Upload a font

`POST /fonts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mapsource.io`
- URL: `https://api.mapsource.io/fonts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Convert a TTF, OTF or WOFF to SDF glyph ranges and report the Unicode blocks it covers.

When to use: Add a custom label font and inspect its supported Unicode ranges.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: The stack name a style will refer to.
  - `data` string, required: The font file, base64-encoded.
  - `license` string: Recorded with the font; not verified.

## Response `200`

Upload a font

- object
  - `schema` string
  - `font` object
  - `glyphs` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Error with a stable machine code.
- `401`: Error with a stable machine code.
- `429`: Error with a stable machine code.
- `500`: Error with a stable machine code.
