# Dynamic client registration (RFC 7591). Public clients only: the response carries no \`client_secret\`, and any \`token_endpoint_auth_method\` other than \`"none"\` is refused rather than silently downgraded.

## Request body

- RegisterClientRequest: Body for `POST /oauth/register` (RFC 7591 §2).
  - `client_name` string, nullable: Display name shown on the consent card.
  - `redirect_uris` string[], required: Redirect URIs this client will use. https anywhere, or `http` on a loopback address for native/CLI clients.
  - `token_endpoint_auth_method` string, nullable: Must be `"none"` when given: this server registers public clients only and issues no client secrets.

## Response `201`

Client registered

- RegisteredClientResponse: Response for `POST /oauth/register` (RFC 7591 §3.2.1).
  - `client_id` string, required: The issued client id (UUID). There is no client secret.
  - `client_id_issued_at` integer, required: Unix timestamp of issuance.
  - `client_name` string, required: Display name recorded for this client.
  - `grant_types` string[], required: Always `["authorization_code","refresh_token"]`.
  - `redirect_uris` string[], required: The accepted redirect URIs, echoed.
  - `response_types` string[], required: Always `["code"]`.
  - `token_endpoint_auth_method` string, required: Always `"none"`, public clients only.

## Other responses

- `400`: No usable redirect URI, or a confidential-client registration
- `429`: Registration velocity exceeded
- `501`: OAuth not configured on this deployment
