# ADR tunnel-entry compliance check (see module docs).

`POST /adr/check`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mapmap.ai`
- URL: `https://api.mapmap.ai/adr/check`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`

## Request body

- AdrCheckRequest: Doc-only mirror of the `/adr/check` request body.
  - `adr` AdrVehicleProfile, required: Doc-only mirror of [`sn_adr::AdrVehicleProfile`].
    - `dimensions` TruckDimensions, required: Doc-only mirror of [`sn_adr::TruckDimensions`].
      - `axle_count` integer, nullable: Number of axles, if known.
      - `axle_load_t` number, double, nullable: Heaviest single-axle load in metric tonnes, if known.
      - `gross_weight_t` number, double, required: Gross combination weight in metric tonnes.
      - `height_m` number, double, required: Vehicle height in metres.
      - `length_m` number, double, required: Vehicle length in metres.
      - `width_m` number, double, required: Vehicle width in metres.
    - `hazmat` boolean, required: Whether the vehicle carries dangerous goods at all.
    - `tunnel_code` string, nullable: ADR 8.6.4 tunnel restriction code of the load, e.g. `"B/D"`, `"C5000D"` or `"(-)"` (no restriction); omit when unknown.
  - `tunnel_category` string, required: The ADR category of the tunnel to check.

## Response `200`

Compliance decision under the worst-case ADR 8.6.4 reading

- Decision: Doc-only mirror of [`sn_adr::Decision`].
  - `reason` string, nullable: Present when blocked: a human-readable explanation citing ADR 8.6.4.
  - `status` string, required: `allowed` or `blocked`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid profile or tunnel category
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Quota or rate limit exceeded
