# Reset Two-Factor Authentication

`PUT /restapi/json/v1/user/resetMFA`

Resets the configured two-factor authentication (TFA/MFA) settings for the specified user. Once reset, the user must reconfigure TFA during their next login. Only users with sufficient privileges can perform this operation.
