# Edit an account

`PUT /restapi/json/v1/resources/{resourceId}/accounts/{accountId}`

Updates the account details for a given resource and account ID in PAM360.

  - `INPUT_DATA` object, required: JSON object with `operation.Details` containing the account fields to update. **ACCOUNTNAME is required** even for partial updates.

        - `RECORD_CLI_SESSIONS` boolean: Enables recording of CLI sessions for this account
        - `DISABLE_PASSWORD_RESETS` boolean: Prevents automatic password resets
        - `CONFIGURE_PASSWORD_RESET` boolean: Allows configuration of password reset for associated service accounts
        - `ACCOUNT_RESOURCE_GROUP_IDS` integer[]: List of resource group IDs to which the account belongs
        - `IIS_WEB_CONFIG_RESET` boolean: Enables IIS Web Config reset during password reset
        - `IIS_APP_POOL_RESTART` boolean: Restarts IIS Application Pool after password reset
        - `IIS_APP_POOL_RESET` boolean: Resets IIS Application Pool during password reset
        - `SERVICES_RESTART` boolean: Restarts associated services after password reset
        - `SERVICES_RESET` boolean: Resets associated services during password reset
        - `SCHEDULED_TASK_RESET` boolean: Resets scheduled tasks during password reset
        - `COMMAND_SET` integer: Command set ID associated with the account
        - `OWNERNAME` string: Name of the account owner
        - `TOTP_SECRET` string: Secret key for generating TOTP
        - `TOTP_ALGORITHM` string: Algorithm used for TOTP generation
        - `TOTP_DIGITS` string: Number of digits in TOTP
        - `TOTP_VALIDITY` string: TOTP validity period in seconds
        - `NOTES` string: Additional notes related to the account
        - `DOMAINNAME` string: Domain name associated with the account
        - `DESCRIPTION` string: Description of the account
        - `SAP_USER_TYPE` 'A' | 'B' | 'C' | 'S' | 'L': SAP account category (v8500+). Values: A (Dialog), B (System), C (Communication), S (Service), L (Reference)
        - `WEBSITE_SESSION_RECORDING` boolean: Enables website session recording
        - `GATEWAY_SESSION_RECORDING` boolean: Enables gateway session recording
