# Approve a password request

`POST /restapi/json/v1/accounts/{accountId}/requester/{requesterId}/approve`

Approves a pending password access request made by a specific user for a given account.

        - `REASON` string: Justification for approving the password request
        - `ACCESS` 'now' | 'later': When access should be granted
        - `STARTTIME` string: Start date and time for the access window (format DD/mm/yyyy HH:mm)
        - `ENDTIME` string: End date and time for the access window (format DD/mm/yyyy HH:mm)
        - `RESOURCES_TO_BE_ACCESSED_OPTION` '2' | '3': Specifies resource access scope for Windows domain accounts. 2 = all shared resources, 3 = selected resources only.
        - `SELECTED_RESOURCEIDS` string[]: List of specific resource IDs when RESOURCES_TO_BE_ACCESSED_OPTION is "3"
