# Start a Pro trial on an existing workspace

`POST /support/billing/{workspace_id}/start-trial`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/support/billing/{workspace_id}/start-trial`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Replace the workspace's billing with a Pro trial (no card needed) for `days` days, default the Pro plan's trial length. Ignores an earlier trial. Refused for a live deal, a partner-billed, a Chargebee-billed or a deleted workspace.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
