# Read a Tableau workbook before importing it

`POST /dashboards/v3/twb/assess`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/twb/assess`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

One uploaded .twb or .twbx -> what it contains and what an import would produce: worksheet and dashboard counts, the charts it uses, the custom formulas that will not survive, and TWO coverage numbers — the share of the workbook's questions that stay answerable on the imported data, and the share of its worksheets that port as the same chart. Both are returned because quoting either alone misleads. Read-only: nothing is imported, no dataset is created, and no model is called.

  - `status_code` integer, nullable
  - `job_id` integer, nullable: Created job id
  - `failure_reason` string, nullable: Failure reason if status is failure

## Other responses

- `202`: Workbook accepted; poll /jobs/{id} for the read or the import
- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
