# Take a draft live

`POST /dashboards/v3/templates/admin/{slug}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Re-checks the fit, publishes the source dashboard, turns on the public link and renders the preview image — then, and only then, marks the row live. Published-and-public buys a reachable og-card route, not a picture: until the card exists the gallery falls back to a wireframe indistinguishable from a template nobody finished. Refused, with nothing published, if the template would be excluded from the gallery on its own data.

- `201`: Document created, URL follows
