# Rename a saved workspace template

`PATCH /dashboards/v3/templates/{template_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Rename / re-describe a saved user template. Owner-or-workspace-admin only (curated rows are never mutable here); a foreign-workspace slug 404s (the store hides foreign user rows), a same-workspace non-owner non-admin 403s. Returns the updated detail payload.
