# Score one dashboard against several candidate datasets

`POST /dashboards/v3/swap/fit`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/swap/fit`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

## Request body

- SwapFitSpec: Score one dashboard against candidate datasets
  - `params` SwapFitParams, required
    - `source_dashboard_id` integer, required: The v3 dashboard being re-pointed (read access required)
    - `target_dataview_ids` integer[], required: Candidate dataviews to score, in the order to return them
    - `include_over_budget` boolean: Score even datasets past the cost budget. For an explicit per-dataset request, never for opening a picker.
    - `seconds_budget` number, nullable: Seconds of cold profile building this request may spend. Defaults to the server's budget. 0 scores only already-cached datasets.

## Response `200`

Per-dataset fit grades, or a reason one was not scored

  - `fits` object[]
  - `cell_budget` integer, required
  - `sample_dataview_ids` integer[]
  - `seconds_spent` number
  - `seconds_budget` number

## Other responses

- `201`: Document created, URL follows
- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
