# Make a chat chart live

`POST /dashboards/v3/live-charts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/live-charts`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Mints a one-tile board on the chart's view, lands the chart's binding as its figure (validated against the view first: 400 on an unknown column or kind), sets who can see it, turns on auto-publish so the published chart follows every refresh of the view, and starts the bake + publish job. The same chat chart (origin) made live twice returns the first chart with no job.

  - `params` CreateLiveChartParams, required
    - `view_id` integer, required: The view the chart's numbers come from
    - `figure` object, required: The chat chart's source.figure: an AddedFigure without its id, checked against the view's columns and the figure registry
    - `title` string, required
    - `audience` 'workspace' | 'public' | 'sites': workspace: sign-in; public: anyone with the link or embed; sites: only the listed sites may embed it
    - `allowed_origins` string[]: The sites a 'sites' chart may be shown on
    - `origin` LiveChartOrigin
      - `session_id` string, required
      - `message_id` string, required
      - `chart_index` integer, required

## Response `202`

The live chart exists; it goes live when the job finishes

- CreateLiveChartResponse
  - `dashboard_id` integer, required: The live chart (its one-tile board)
  - `job_id` integer, nullable: The bake + publish job to poll; null when this chat chart was already live

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
