# Change who can see a live chart

`PATCH /dashboards/v3/live-charts/{dashboard_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/live-charts/{dashboard_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

workspace: sign-in, no site may embed it; public: anyone with the link or embed; sites: only the listed sites may embed it.

  - `embed_url` string, required
  - `share_url` string, required: The link tools unfurl (oEmbed discovery)
  - `embed_snippet` string, nullable: The iframe to paste; null for a workspace-only chart
  - `oembed` boolean, required: Whether a pasted link unfurls as the chart

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
