# Preview the board on the user's data, as proposed

`GET /dashboards/v3/{dashboard_id}/own-data/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/{dashboard_id}/own-data/preview`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

The adapted board baked but not saved — the same response shape as /v3/templates/preview. Roles bound to a calculated column are empty until the user accepts (the column is a pipeline step).

- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
