# Fit this template board to the user's own data

`POST /dashboards/v3/{dashboard_id}/own-data`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/dashboards/v3/{dashboard_id}/own-data`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Start a run: the server waits for the upload (ingest_job_id) or reads the chosen dataset, fits the board's template to it with one AI adaptation checked in code, and leaves a proposal for review. The board is NOT changed. The user may leave while it runs; a notification brings them back. Replaces any pending run.

    - `ingest_job_id` integer, nullable
    - `dataset_id` integer, nullable

- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
