# Dashboard action

`POST /dashboards/{dashboard_id}/action`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Perform an action on the dashboard: sync, publish, unpublish, auto-sync, auto-publish, delete-source, or restore.

- `dashboard_id` integer, required

## Request body

- DashboardActionSpec: Unified dashboard action parameters
  - `action` 'sync' | 'publish-data' | 'publish-presentation' | 'unpublish' | 'auto-sync' | 'auto-publish' | 'delete-source' | 'restore' | 'set-rls-config', required: Action to perform: sync, publish-data, publish-presentation, unpublish, auto-sync, auto-publish, delete-source, or restore
  - `params` DashboardActionParams
    - `enabled` boolean, nullable: Enable or disable (required for auto-sync and auto-publish actions)
    - `view_id` integer, nullable: Dataview ID to scope auto-sync to a single source, or to delete a source (required for delete-source action)
    - `sequence` integer, nullable: Version sequence to rewind to (required for the restore action)
    - `notify_authors` boolean, nullable: publish-presentation: send the other authors of the unpublished changes an in-app notice that their work is now live
    - `filter_column` string, nullable: RLS filter column (required when enabling set-rls-config)
