# Correct what kind of request a reply answered (creator only)

`PATCH /agents/sessions/{session_id}/messages/{message_id}/request-kind`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2`
- URL: `https://app.mammoth.io/api/v2/agents/sessions/{session_id}/messages/{message_id}/request-kind`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-API-SECRET` and API key in header `X-WORKSPACE-ID`

Body: `request_kind` (ask, insight, build, automate or fix). Kept as `corrected` in the reply's `request_kind`; nothing is re-run. `message_id` is the block id the messages read returns.

- UpdateRequestKindRequest
  - `request_kind` 'ask' | 'insight' | 'build' | 'automate' | 'fix', required

## Response `204`

Request fulfilled, nothing follows

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request syntax or unsupported method
- `403`: Request forbidden -- authorization will not help
