# Get an inbox

`GET /inboxes/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dash.mailsocket.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://dash.mailsocket.app/api/v1/inboxes/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns one inbox plus two detail fields: `message_count_month` (messages
received this calendar month) and `webhook_configured` (whether a
webhook row exists for the inbox).

The inbox.

    - `id` string, required: The inbox public ID.
    - `label` string, required
    - `address` string, required: The full inbound email address.
    - `is_enabled` boolean, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
    - `metadata` object, required: Your correlation metadata, `{}` when unset. Never returned by unauthenticated endpoints.
    - `message_count_month` integer, required: Messages received this calendar month.
    - `webhook_configured` boolean, required: Whether a webhook row exists for this inbox.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Account is not permitted to use the API.
- `404`: Resource not found (unknown or not owned).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
