# Delete an email delivery connection

`DELETE /v1/email-delivery-connections/{connection_id}`

## Request

- URL: `https://api.mailrith.com/v1/email-delivery-connections/{connection_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes one connection linked only to the authenticated workspace. Shared or in-use connections are not deleted.

## Path parameters

- `connection_id` string, required

## Response `204`

The connection was deleted.

## Other responses

- `404`: The connection was not found.
- `409`: The connection is shared or currently in use and cannot be deleted.
