# Delete a custom field

`DELETE /v1/custom-fields/{custom_field_id}`

Deletes a custom-field definition from the authenticated workspace.

## Path parameters

- `custom_field_id` string, required

## Response `204`

The custom field was deleted.

## Other responses

- `404`: The custom field was not found.
- `409`: The request conflicts with the current custom field state.
