# Forward an email

`POST /inbox/messages/{id}/forward`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mailly.site` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.mailly.site/inbox/messages/{id}/forward`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Body = note + quoted original; original attachments are included by default (controlled by include_attachments). Supports the `Idempotency-Key` header.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Email ID

## Request body

  - `to` string: Forward-to email address
  - `text` string
  - `html` string
  - `subject` string
  - `fromName` string
  - `include_attachments` boolean: Default true
  - `attachments` object[]

## Response `200`

Forward result (passed through from the send path, JSON)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameters
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Resource not found
- `500`: Server error
