# Pause workspace sending manually

`POST /admin/sending-controls/{workspace}/pause`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mailly.site` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.mailly.site/admin/sending-controls/{workspace}/pause`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

While paused, every customer send from the workspace is rejected with workspace_sending_paused; queued messages that have not been sent fail when consumed and are not replayed after resuming.

## Path parameters

- `workspace` string, required: Workspace ID (account email, case-insensitive, URL-encoded)

Paused (or already paused)
