# Retrieve the subscriber's topics.

`GET /subscribers/{subscriberId}/topics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.maildroppa.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.maildroppa.com/subscribers/{subscriberId}/topics`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Active topics plus archived topics the subscriber still has a row for, each with status, source and change time.

- `subscriberId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Subscriber topics.

  - `description` string
  - `topicStatus` 'ACTIVE' | 'ARCHIVED'
  - `subscriptionStatus` 'SUBSCRIBED' | 'UNSUBSCRIBED'
  - `source` 'SIGNUP' | 'PREFERENCE_CENTER' | 'EMAIL_TOPIC_UNSUBSCRIBE' | 'CUSTOMER' | 'API' | 'IMPORT' | 'ENROLLMENT' | 'DEFAULT' | 'MIGRATION' | 'GLOBAL_UNSUBSCRIBE'
  - `changedAtUtc` string, date-time
  - `optedOutBySubscriber` boolean: True when the subscriber opted out personally; bulk paths never override this.

## Other responses

- `401`: Not Authorized
- `403`: Not Allowed
- `404`: Subscriber not found.
- `428`: Accept the customer agreements in the app before using API keys.
